Blogging

I have always found that blogging is a fantastic way for students to share what they have learned.  While teaching grade one, I began a blog called "A Day in the Life of Grade 1E".  Everyday, myself and the students shared what we learned through words, pictures and videos.  Although the blog is no longer being updated, you can visit past posts by clicking on the image below:

When I moved to grade 9 I wanted to find a way to continue to use blogging as a way of demonstrating learning.  Therefore, for one of my option classes, I teach Blog Design.  Students not only set up their own blog using Blogger, but they also practice working with a variety of Web 2.0 tools that they can use throughout their learning.  To view a student created blog click on the image below:
